David DeShaun Reyes (born November 29, 2006), professionally known as DD Osama, is an American rapper based in New York.
Personal life
David Reyes was born in Harlem, New York. Reyes is the second youngest of five siblings.[1][2]
Career
In 2021, Reyes released his first song “Aftermath” alongside his brother Ethan Reyes, who was also known as Notti Osama, and fellow rapper Blockwork. Reyes began receiving traction around June 2022.
In July 2022, his aforementioned 14-year-old brother, the rapper known professionally as Notti Osama, died after an altercation that led to his stabbing. The death of his brother led to a surge in the popularity of their song "Dead Opps", and the creation of the song E4N (which means “Everything 4 Notti”). He also has multiple collaborations with fellow rappers SugarHill DDot and Chicago native Lil Zay Osama and with Lil Baby and Lil Durk artist Rylo Rodriguez.[3]
In December 2022, he and fellow New York rapper Lil Mabu released their single “Throw” alongside an accompanying music video.[4] In February 2023, he collaborated with rapper Coi Leray and released a song titled “Upnow”.[5] Shortly after releasing his album “Here 2 Stay”, he released the single “Let’s Do It” twice, one with NLE Choppa and the other with fellow Harlem rapper DeePlay4Keeps. He is affiliated with the gang OY (Original Youngins), screaming their set’s name in songs.
In July 2023, Reyes went on the tour “Sorry for the Drought” with Lil Durk.[6]
