Solomon Obeng, known in showbiz as DJ Loft, is a Ghanaian radio and events disc jockey.[1][2][3] In 2021 he was nominated for the Afrobeat/Hiplife DJ of the Year and Mixtape of the Year at the Ghana DJ Awards.[4]
Early life, education and career
DJ Loft was born on November 6th in Accra, Ghana. He completed St Peters Senior High School in Nkwatia. He started being a disc jockey in 2009 as a passion and professionally started his career at Prime FM before moving to Hitz FM and then Okay FM. He currently is a radio DJ for one of Ghana's radio stations YFM Ghana.[5]
Dj Loft is currently the artist DJ of Ghanaian rapper and musician Black Sherif and was seen with him during a performance at the Something in the Water Festival by Pharrel Williams.[6] Dj Loft has had his mixes featured on Ebro Darden Apple Music 1 radio show.[7]
