David Tully
David Tully (b. 1974) is a vehicle repair shop owner from Rochdale[1] who is notable for coming second place in the 2024 Rochdale by-election,[2] the first by-election since 1945 in which none of the major parties came in first or second place, He began his independent campaign four weeks before the election and received 6,638 votes, more than the Conservatives and Labour combined. He ran on a platform of localism.[3][4]
