Elegant Hotels Group PLC is a holding company in the hospitality sector which owns and operates seven freehold hotels and resorts in Barbados.[5][6] It is the largest independent hotel operator in Barbados and the country's largest hotel industry employer.[7][8] The company also operates a beachfront restaurant called Daphne's in Barbados.[9] The company was listed on London's Alternative Investment Market in May 2015.[10] Luke Johnson owns a 12.5% stake in the business and has a seat on the board.[11][12][13]
