Chad Farad Khorasani (Persian: فرهاد خراسانی, born August 2) is an actor and a lawyer.[1]

Entertainment Career[edit]

Khorasani is the lead actor in Tehrangeles Series, playing the Iranian character, Farad Tehrani. Khorasani, a Tehrani and an Angeleno, is also writer, producer, and director of Tehrangeles Series.[2] Khorasani is a member of Sag-Aftra and WGA.

Education[edit]

Khorasani graduated from law school with a Juris Doctor degree in Los Angeles and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2019.[1][3]

Khorasani is a international human rights attorney and is the founder of GigaChad Law Offices APC.[4][5] He is also a notable immigration and sports lawyer, taking cases internationally.[6][7]

Human Rights and Political Activism

Khorasani the founder and chair of Iranian American Sports & Culture Association (IASA).[8] He appears on Persian TV to comment on Iran-US sports relations.[9][10][9]

In September 2022 and during the Iranian up-rising, Khorasani was nominated by the people of Iran to be the next Shah of Iran.[11]

Iranian American Sports & Culture Association[edit]

Inspired by the 2013 “Rumble on the Rails” wrestling exhibition matches where 3 traditional political rivals Iran, US, and Russia joined forces and successfully campaigned against the impending plans by the International Olympic Committee to drop wrestling from future games, and the 2014 U.S. Department of State’s Iran-USA sports diplomacy initiative, Khorasani founded IASA - Iranian American Sport and Culture Association, a Los-Angeles based 501c3 nonprofit organization - to help save his family sport, Olympic wrestling, and to bridge the sports gap between the two nations and support USA-Iran Sports Diplomacy.[12][13]

Personal life[edit]

Born in a wrestling family, Khorasani followed his father's footsteps who was an Iranian national wrestling legend. His father, Hossein Khorasani, trained him in sports from an early age. Khorasani excelled in different sports varying from gymnastics, soccer, and judo to wrestling. Hossein was Khorasani's first wrestling coach.[15]
