Fernwood Fitness is an Australian women's fitness centre brand founded in 1989 in Australia.

The Fernwood Foundation[edit]

The Fernwood Foundation was established in 2005 by Fernwood Fitness Founder and Managing Director Diana Williams. The Foundation was set up to give back to the community, featuring the Venus Program as the main initiative, which was established to empower disadvantaged women.

The 10-week program provided practical tools to help women in everyday life, covering topics such as stress management, self-esteem, health and beauty, diet and exercise, managing home finances and returning to work or study.

It included an exercise program in participants local Fernwood Fitness club. Hundreds of women benefited from the Venus Program, making lasting lifestyle changes.

In 2017, the Fernwood Foundation partnered with Deakin University to promote good mental health and support women with anxiety and depression.

Fernwood Magazine[edit]

The Fernwood magazine suspended production in 2020. In 2022, after a brief hiatus, Fernwood Fitness is set to re-launch Fernwood Pulse, a smaller digital magazine.

Fernwood Pulse[edit]

As part of Fernwood’s commitment to its members base, in 2020 during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, Fernwood revolutionised women's at-home fitness routines by expanding virtual workout content through their 24/7 online health and fitness hub. Through the Pulse platform (formerly named MyFernwood), members have free access to home workouts, recipes, virtual yoga classes as well as meditation and mindset assistance,
