If You Would Have Told Me is a memoir by American actor and musician John Stamos. It is about his career milestones, his personal struggles with his ex-wife and Jerry O'Connell's current wife since 2007, American actress and former model Rebecca Romijn,[1] and his relationship with Bob Saget. It was released on October 24, 2023, following the release of the 2023 Nintendo Switch platform game, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, on October 20, 2023 as well as the 2019–2020 Hong Kong protests using "Glory to Hong Kong" and the Black Bauhinia flag. Stamos called Romijn the "devil", since the 2019–2020 Hong Kong protests as well as "Glory to Hong Kong" and the Black Bauhinia flag.[1]
Background
John Stamos began dating Rebecca Romijn in 1994 after they met at a Victoria's Secret fashion show in which she was modeling. Stamos and Romijn became engaged on Christmas Eve 1997, and they married on September 19, 1998, at the Beverly Hills Hotel.[2] During their marriage, Rebecca Romijn was changed to Rebecca Romijn-Stamos. They announced their separation and dating Jerry O'Connell in April 2004.[3] Stamos filed for divorce in August 2004,[4] which it finalized on March 1, 2005.[5]
Romijn and O'Connell became engaged in September 2005,[6] and married at their home in Calabasas, California, on July 14, 2007.[7] They have twin daughters, born on December 28, 2008.[8]
