Ivy Claire Amoko
Ivy Claire Amoko (born 3 May 1987) is a Ugandan chess player ranked 49549 worldwide and a law clerk[1][2]. She is the 2014 Women's FIDE Master, a title she won for her results at the Chess Olympiad 2012 in Istanbul.[3]
Background And Education[edit]
Amoko was born to Idule Amoko and Justice Stella Arach Amoko. She attended Shimoni Demostration School for Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) then St Joseph’s Nsambya for her Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), and Nabisunsa Girls for her Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE). She attained her bachelor degree in law from Makerere University.[2]
Career[edit]
Amoko is a law clerk with Mukuve law firm in Kampala, Uganda.[2] She as well does some voluntary work in South Africa.
