Jiva Ayurveda is an Ayurvedic company based in India. Founded in 1992, the company is headquartered in Faridabad, Haryana, and is registered in the name of Jiva Ayurvedic Pharmacy Limited. Jiva Ayurveda was founded by Ayurvedic doctor, Dr. Partap Chauhan, who is considered to be the pioneer of Ayurvedic telemedicine. The company manufactures Ayurvedic medicines and products and provides health consultation through its telemedicine center, clinics and website.[1]

Ayurvedic Telemedicine[edit]

The Jiva TeleMedicine Center, a first-of-its-kind concept in the world, was established in 2007 as an integrated center of telephonic health consultation. The center has 125 Ayurvedic doctors who provide free consultations to patients across India.

Pharmacy[edit]

Jiva Ayurveda manufactures its own medicines and products at its ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturing unit and pharmacy in Faridabad, India.

Courses[edit]

Jiva organizes Ayurvedic educational and training programs as well as workshops and seminars for Ayurveda practitioners and enthusiasts across the globe.[2]

Clinics[edit]

Jiva’s Ayurvedic Clinics and Panchakarma Centers offer personal consultations as well as Panchakarma treatments to help people stay healthy. The clinics are located in New Delhi (at Rohini, Lajpat Nagar & Vivek Vihar), Gurgaon, Noida, Ambala, Surat and Vrindavan.

Jiva Ayurveda's website, Ayurvedic.org was the first comprehensive online resource on Ayurveda. The website provides free online consultations to patients from all parts of the globe.[3][4]

About Dr. Partap Chauhan[edit]

Partap Chauhan is an Indian Ayurvedic doctor and the pioneer of online Ayurvedic medicine. He started the world’s first online Ayurvedic clinic, Ayurvedic.org, in the year 1995. Chauhan is the winner of United Nations' World Summit Award for his Teledoc project on rural medicine.[5][6] He is the founder of the world’s first Ayurvedic telemedicine center, which offers telephonic consultation to patients.
