Lee Ka-eun (Hangul : 이가은, born August 20, 1994), better known as Kaeun, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is the youngest member of the girl group After School. She made her debut with the release of the group's fifth single, "Flashback".[1]
Career[edit]
Pre-debut[edit]
On April 9, 2012, Pledis Entertainment revealed that a new member would be added to the group. The following day, the new member was officially revealed to be Kaeun and details regarding a Korean comeback in June were revealed.[2] Kaeun made her first appearance with the group at After School's first Japanese concert. She performed the group's hit song "Bang!" and participated in the drums performance of "Let's Do It" with the group. She was introduced to the fans by E-Young as After School's new member.
Debut[edit]
Kaeun made her official debut with the group on June 21, 2012, performing their new single "Flashback" on M! Countdown.[3] She shares a room with fellow member E-Young.
Personal life[edit]
Kaeun spent her junior high school days in Japan, and her fluent Japanese is a benefit to the group as they promote in Japan. Kaeun also plays the flute.
