List of Last.fm number-one songs of the 2000s

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Last.fm Scrobbling Top Tracks Chart is a chart published weekly by Last.fm. Using a system called "scrobbling," Last.fm's charts measure everything its users listen to through the Last.fm website as well as hundreds of other music sites and services, including iTunes, Spotify, and The Hype Machine.[1] Its data is based collectively on each track's weekly listeners worldwide, rather than the actual playcount (or scrobbles on Last.fm) which is far more easily manipulated by Last.fm users. This is a list of tracks which received the most listeners per week globally on Last.fm during the 2000s. There'd been 40 tracks claiming the top spot from the chart's inception week ending 20 February 2005 through the week ending 27 December 2009.
