  • Kristen French (1992), victim of Canadian serial killers and serial rapists Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. She was abducted, sexually abused and murdered.
  • Christine Freund (1977), was shot by the Son of Sam serial killer.
  • Gretchen Fritz (1965), was a teenager who was strangled by her boyfriend, Charles Schmid. Her murder was featured in the television show A Crime to Remember which aired on the Investigation Discovery television network.
  • Wendy Fritz (1965), was the younger sister of Gretchen Fritz and was strangled by Charles Schmid.
  • Junko Furuta (1989), Japanese high school student, tortured to death.

  • Lynda Ann Healy (1974), murder victim of Ted Bundy. Was bludgeoned while asleep and abducted.
  • Marine Hedge (1985), was a murder victim of BTK Killer. Strangled manually (with hands).
  • Dawn Hochsprung (2012), school principal, shot. She died during the "Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre".
  • Tammy Homolka (1990), younger sister and victim of Canadian serial killers and serial rapists Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo. Tammy was plied with alcoholic beverages laced with a sedative drug called Halcion. When she fell unconscious Paul and Karla raped her. As a result, it led to her asphyxiating on her own vomit. That coupled with failed attempts by Karla to revive Tammy lead to her death.
  • Ellen Hover (circa 1977), a murder victim of serial killer Rodney Alcala.
  • Catherine Howard (1542), King Henry VIII's fifth wife; executed and beheaded.
  • Elizabeth Howe (1692), hanged as a result of the Salem Witch Trials.
  • Anne Hutchinson (1643), English dissenter; scalped by the Siwanoy, body dragged back into the house which was then burned down.

  • Cheryl Keeton (1986), lawyer, bludgeoned to death. True crime author Anne Rule wrote a book about Cheryl's death, bitter divorce and custody battle regarding her three sons in a book titled "Dead by Sunset" in the year 1995. It was a best seller. A made for television movie of the same title had aired on the Lifetime television network in 1995 as well.
  • Mary Jane Kelly (1888) victim of Jack the Ripper. She was disemboweled, throat severed and heart missing.
  • John F. Kennedy (1963), politician (35th President of the United States), assassinated; shot[26][27]
  • Robert F. Kennedy (1968), politician, assassinated; shot[28]
  • William Kindred (1978), murdered by American serial killer John Wayne Gacy.
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. (1968), speaker and civil-rights leader, assassinated; shot.[29]
  • Debra Kent (1974), suspected murder victim of Ted Bundy.
  • Polly Klaas (1993), junior high school student. Kidnapped; strangled. She was known as America's "internet childstar" because she was the first missing child whose picture was posted all over the internet. After her death her father, Marc Klaas, started the Polly Klaas Foundation which helps offer safety tips for parents and caregivers as well as helping to find missing children.

  • Charlotte Lamb (1978), raped and strangled by American serial killer Rodney Alcala in the laundry room of her El Segundo apartment complex.
  • Pamela Jean Lambson (1977), as of March 2011, investigators in Marin County north of San Francisco, California announced that they were "confident" that American serial killer Rodney Alcala was responsible for her murder.
  • Frank Landinging (1978), suffocated with his own underwear which was shoved down his throat by American serial killer John Wayne Gacy. It caused Frank to drown in his own vomit.
  • Nancy Lanza (2012), shot. Was murdered by her son on the day of the "Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre".
  • Donna Lauria (1976), was shot by the Son of Sam serial killer.
  • Kimberly Diane Leach (1978), abducted by Ted Bundy from her junior high school in Lake City, Florida. Her skeletal remains were found near Suwannee River State Park.

  • Laci Denise Peterson and unborn child (2002), they were murdered by her husband Scott Peterson. When the bodies were discovered, they were so badly decomposed that the medical examiner could not determine how they were murdered.
  • Hayley Petit (2007), died of smoke inhalation as a result of the Cheshire, Connecticut, home invasion murders
  • Jennifer Hawke-Petit (2007), strangled during the Cheshire, Connecticut home invasion murders.
  • Michaela Petit (2007), died of smoke inhalation as a result of the Cheshire, Connecticut home invasion murders.
  • Fritz Pfeffer (1944), dentist, mentioned in Anne Frank's diary and hid in the "secret annex" with the Frank family and Van Daan family also known by the pseudonym "Van Pels". He served as the Frank's family dentist. He died in Neuengamme Concentration Camp. His death was listed as "enterocolitis" a catch-all term that covered, among other things, dysentery and cholera, both of which were common causes of death in the camps.
  • Alice Pitezel (1800s), child murder victim of American serial killer H.H. Holmes.

  • Hermann Van Pels (1945) a pseudonym for Hermann Van Daan in Anne Frank's diary who is also known as Hans in the first manuscript, hid in the "secret annex" with the Frank family and Fritz Pfeffer. He was sent to the gas chambers in the Auschwitz Concentration Camp.
  • Peter Van Pels (1945) a pseudonym for Peter Van Daan in Anne Frank's diary, hid in the "secret annex" with the Frank family and Fritz Pfeffer, died in Mauthausen in a death march.
  • Gianni Versace (1997), fashion designer, shot[61]
  • Shirley Vian (1977), murder victim of BTK Killer. She was strangled with a rope.

  • Adam Walsh, Son of America's Most Wanted host John Walsh (1981), decapitated.
  • Vicki Wegerle (1986), was a murder victim of BTK Killer. She was strangled with a nylon stocking.
  • Cynthia Wesley (1963) a victim of the 16th Street Baptist Church Bombing in Birmingham, Alabama U.S.A.
  • Murder of Nikki Whitehead (2010), beautician and single parent, beaten and stabbed to death by her 16-year-old twin daughters Jasmiyah Kaneesha Whitehead and Tasmiyah Janeesha Whitehead. Jarmecca's autopsy revealed that she suffered injuries to her lungs, jugular vein and a severed spinal cord. Jarmecca's murder has been featured in a few true crime shows and documentaries such as MSNBC Dateline in the episode titled "Bad Blood", Snapped episode 1403 titled "The Whitehead Twins" and Evil Twins episode "Honor Roll Killers" which has aired on the Investigation Discovery network. Jarmecca is interred at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia (U.S. state).[63]
