Lokendra Singh Ranawat (born 12 August 1982) is an Indian entrepreneur, Engineer, CEO & co-founder of India's largest growing e-commerce Wooden Street for furniture, furnishings and home decor. Lokendra draws expertise from various backgrounds of Sales & Marketing, Management & Information Technology.

Career[edit]

Before pursuing his MBA in sales and marketing, Ranawat graduated in electronics & communication. From the start of his career, he has served in several key positions at various renowned organization. This gave him ample experience in pre-sales management.[1]

Observing the cognizance of the booming startup arena within India, Lokendra then decided to sit in the entrepreneur chair and started his first venture called Cognus Technology. With an in-house team of 200+ consultants serving more than 500 clients in 10 countries, the venture had a stellar growth. However, later he discovered the need for an hour, which was customized and space saving furniture for Indian homes, which led him to launch Wooden Street.[2]

It is an e-commerce focusing on innovative multi-utility designs and affordable custom-made furniture at the customer's doorstep. In a span of 5+ years, the startup has surpassed everyone's expectations and created a massive buzz in the Indian furniture Industry. [3]

Lokendra Ranawat has been listed as one of the "Most Influencing Entrepreneurs" by YourStory from 100 Digital Influencers of 2020 for pushing the Make-in-India initiative and providing a large platform to Indian artisans.
