Love Connection 4: Hip Hop Nation is the fourth season of the Love Connection Series. This season is the first to star an African American Bachelor, Isaiah, who is a recording artist. It is the second season to take place in a city other than Los Angeles. This season took place in Atlanta. The season started on July 2nd and concluded on July 22nd. This is the first season where the lead did not choose a winner.

It was announced that Princess from Love Connection 2 will compete in this season along with 16 new girls. It was also revealed that Aurora (who made an appearance on Love Connection 3 and Love Games) was posing as a fake contestant as part of the spy twist. 

Format/Twists

The show will follow the same format where the girls compete in challenges to win time and dates with Isaiah. After dates and mingling time, Isaiah will give out roses to the girls that he wants to stay in the competition, and the girls who do not receive a rose will be sent home.

Unlike the previous seasons, this season started off with 18 girls. The girls were split into two DMs of 9 to talk with the bachelor. In each DM, Isaiah gave a girl the first impression rose and sent home one girl from each chat.

In week two it was revealed that there is a spy contestant (who is not in competition). This spy contestant is posing as a contestant but will report to the bachelor and tell him her opinions on the girls and what she heard going on about them in the house.

Episodes

  • Episode 1: All new season kicks off with an all new bachelor and an all new setting! The girls all meet each other and a familiar face is back! Princess from Love Connection 2 & Charm School. The girls all get along until Tovah enters the mansion and throws shade at a few girls. Lunar and Tovah get into a physical altercation and form the first rivalry of the season. Soon a twist is revealed!
  • Episode 2: Isaiah spends time with three ladies and gives out a first impression rose. Meanwhile Tovah finds herself in the midst of bickering with Indeeyah, Brittany and Lunar. Soon a big break erupts in front of Isaiah. One girl will be sent home.
  • Episode 3: Part 3 of Week 1, It’s revealed that there is a secret spy contestant living amongst the house and has everyone guessing who it is. Isaiah starts his day off with group 2, and starts to get annoyed by them. After an eventful elimination the spy reveals herself and exposes the tea! And later, Isaiah realizes he can’t take it anymore and leaves.
  • Episode 4: (Week 2), Lunar struggles with the fact that Isaiah is no longer the bachelor while the other girls are ready for the new Bachelor. Que from Love Games joins the show and will be seeking out his perfect match. Rosalina finds herself in the midst of drama when she finds out that one person said an awful comment about her.
  • Episode 5: Week 2 part 2, Lunar is feeling hopeless because she feels that Que doesn’t like her and thinks that she will be getting eliminated. Que finishes up his one on ones with Dominique and gets to know her more. At elimination 3 girls are sent home after giving Que the worst first impression! And later Brittany starts a fight with Tovah which makes the house against her and eventually gets exposed for spreading false rumors about Rosalina
  • Episode 6: Week 3, Brittany is accused of being racist after a post of hers was discovered using the n-word in her song lyrics. Brittany becomes the house’s most hated girl. Que presents the new challenge. The girls will have a hot photo battle where each round the girl who submits the hottest photo and scores the most points for their team wins a date. The special guest Milah (Season 1) and Emily (Season 3) hang out with the girls and get the tea on all the drama. At the end, Terikaa and Ruth are sent home.
  • Episode 7: Week 4 | GiaVonna happy to have survived elimination and the girls all have a small party. Lunar feels hopeless and wants to leave because she thinks she doesn’t have a connection with Que. The girls grow annoyed with Lunar being a negative Nancy. Que spends some time with girls in the chat until Lunar freaks out and has a mental breakdown which causes the girls to grow annoyed with her. Later the challenge is for the girls to break up in teams to babysit a small toddler. Little did they know this toddler would be a handful...
  • Episode 8: Week 4 part 2: The final team had to baby sit the toddler from Hell. Princess and Lily feel like Brittany did a terrible job by letting the toddler do what she wanted without discipline. Tovah calls Dominique out on having STDs and defending Brittany using the ‘N’ word. Que goes on three dates to find connections with more girls but one date turns Que off and makes his decision for elimination much easier. And Leigh Anne has a mental breakdown that reveals that she’s talking to other guys. At elimination Dominique and Leigh Anne are sent home.
  • Episode 9: After Dominique and Leigh Anne going home, Lunar was asked to leave by Que because Lunar did not agree with his elimination decisions. The next day the girls will be getting their baggage exposed and drama catches up with Brittany after she makes a comment about one of the girls being a stripper and having a kid. At the end, Que surprises the house with a shocking elimination by eliminating Lily from the competition.
