MLD Entertainment (Korean: 엠엘디엔터테인먼트) is a South Korean entertainment company founded in 2015 by Lee Hyung-jin, who was the management director of Girl's Day . On November 10, 2016, the girl group Momoland was launched.

2010–2014: Early formation and debut of Momoland[edit]

Its original name was Double Kick Company, but it was released on January 12, 2018.[2] Changed the company name to MLD Entertainment.[3] Officially, it is an abbreviation of 'Legendary management makes a dream come true'.


Duble Kick Entertainment (더블킥 엔터테인먼트) is a South Korean music agency founded by producer duo Duble Sidekick in 2012.


Duble Sidekick (이단옆차기), also known as Duble Kick[1], is a South Korean producer duo currently comprised of Park Jang Geun and Ham Jun Seok.


MLD, founded in 2015, it is a subsidiary of Duble Kick Entertainment.[2]


Million market. Double Kick Entertainment was first established in 2012 by MC Mong = Shin Dong-hyun, and in 2015, Park Jang-geun took over the company and is running it.

After being acquired by SM Entertainment in August 2018, the name was changed at the same time as it was included in the SM Entertainment group company, but as of June 2021, it was excluded from the SM Entertainment group affiliated company and separated into a separate affiliate.


May 30, 2018

MOMOLAND’s agency has changed its name.

On May 30, the agency stated, “Duble Kick Company has changed its name to MLD Entertainment. MLD is meant to represent the mission statement, ‘Legendary management makes a dream come true.'”

Duble Kick Company is a subsidiary of Duble Kick Entertainment, founded by music producers Duble Sidekick. In 2016, the agency debuted the girl group MOMOLAND, who found success in 2018 with their single “Bboom Bboom.”

CEO Lee Hyung Jin said, “We thought a lot about the name and how it can fit with a generation in which K-pop is spreading all over the world. We are turning over a new leaf with our new name and will work even harder for the benefit of our artists.”
