Marwiya
Maria Nakagolo Gorret, known professionally as Marwiya, is a Ugandan YouTuber, podcaster and entrepreneur.[1] In 2021, she decided to start up a YouTube channel and podcast where she is able to talk passionately about, health, fashion and lifestyle.

Early life[edit]
Marwiya was born in Iganga district , Uganda, where she was raised by her parents. Marwiya attended buttivila nursery school, St Patrick kigulu girls for her primary level, St Joseph's girls nsambya sss for her secondary level and Busitema university for her tertiary level of education where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in textile engineering.
Career[edit]
Growing up she wanted to have a career where she had to just talk. Marwiya loved listening to cool radio station presenters and hoped she would be able to work on radio or a talk show. Luckily, When she got to university, she got her very first opportunity to be an mcee in her second year. She was then later hired to mc at many different functions at university till she graduated from the university. Coming out of university, she managed to get herself a job as a marketeer due to her communication skill but later on took a break due to a health issue that required more attention.
During that time, she decided to take more time to explore her abilities (dancing and public speaking). In 2021, she decided to start up a YouTube channel and podcast where she is able to talk passionately about, health, fashion and lifestyle. She is now a Certified YouTuber and podcaster. She usually uploads her content every week on both platforms . She is also an entrepreneur, owning and managing her own business.
