Mohamed Said Ahmed Shehata (Arabic: محمد سيد أحمد شحاتة) is a professor at Al-Azhar University, Faculty of Theology in Assiut, Egypt. Currently, he works at Majmaah University, Faculty of Education in As Zulfi, major: Hadith and its sciences. Shehata has published several scientific articles in newspapers, paper magazines, and e-magazines. In addition, he has done many radio interviews, speeches, seminars, and lectures through different stations. He taught both Bachelors and Masters students at Al Azhar University and Al Majmaah.

He has participated in over 20 Scientific conferences and gatherings in:(Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Morocco, and Algeria). He received the Distinguished Research Award from Majmaah University for the academic year 2020.[1]

He participated in activities of the first Indian-Arab International Scientific Conference (remotely) on the 24th and 25th of October, 2020, with an intervention titled "The efforts of Indian Scholars in the 15th Century A.H in Defending the Sunnah of the Prophet". He explained the argument about the authenticity of the Sunnah, highlighting the efforts of Indian scholars in the 14th and 15th centuries in defending the Sunnah.[2]

  • Teaching assistant at the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies in Desouk (29/10/1997), then transferred to the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion and Dawah in Assiut, then moved to the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion on 7/6/1998.
