Operations
The company limits itself to working with those involved in violent or sexual crimes.[citation needed] The company is controversial, due to its efforts to remove negative information that may be of public interest.[1]
History
NetReputation.com was founded as Web Presence LLC by Adam Petrilli in 2014.[2]
In 2023, the company targeted three New Zealand citizens they suspected may be the political figure charged with child sexual assault in an Auckland court - one of whom they wrongly guessed businessman Leo Molloy. NetReputation wrongly approached Molloy - who ran for Auckland mayor last year[when?] - soliciting business and “reputational management” for when name suppression in the case potentially lapses in the future.[1]
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the company placed 3036th on Inc. magazine's 2021 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America list, based on 2021 revenues.[2]
