Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again is an upcoming American-Chinese computer-animated film. It is the fourth installment in and a continuation of the Night at the Museum franchise. Developed by 20th Century Studios, the film will be released exclusively on Disney+ in 2022.

Premise[edit]

The plot centers around Larry Daley's son, Nick, who is hesitant to follow on his father's footsteps as nightwatchman. In addition to Nick and Kahmunrah, the titular villain, the movie will also feature returning characters: Jedediah, Octavius, Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt; with the addition of Joan of Arc as well.[3]

In October 2020, the official title of the project was revealed as Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again. The project will be a CGI-animated film.[8] The plot centers around Larry's son, Nick, who is hesitant to follow in his father's footsteps as nightwatchman.[8] In addition to Nick and Kahmunrah, the movie will also feature other returning characters: Jedediah, Octavius, Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt; with the addition of Joan of Arc as well.[8] By August 2021, it was announced that the film is two-thirds of the way completed, and that it will debut on Disney+ in 2022.[9]
