Opo (also marketed as OpoFinance) is a financial technology company and online forex broker operating through entities in several jurisdictions.[1] The company states that it was founded in 2021 and provides retail traders with access to forex, CFDs, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrency derivatives.[2]
History
Opo states that it began operating under its current brand in 2021. The company subsequently introduced a copy-trading feature called "Social Trade", which allows users to replicate positions opened by other traders on the platform.[3]
In 2024, the company introduced "Pulse AI", an AI-based market analysis tool.[4]
Opo provides access to MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradingView, and its proprietary OpoTrade application.[5][6]
Criticism
Independent broker review platforms have noted that the company's ownership structure and senior management are not extensively disclosed in publicly available documentation.[7] Third-party review sites have recorded user complaints citing difficulties with fund withdrawals and, in isolated cases, account closures without written explanation. These reports have not been independently verified.[8]
