Ordem Paranormal: Enigma do Medo (English: Paranormal Order: Riddle of Fear, literally) is an upcoming video game created by YouTuber and streamer Rafael "Cellbit" Lange and developed by Dumativa Game Studio. It is scheduled to be released in June 2022 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.[1] The player controls Mia, a paranormal investigator who has the mission to save her father, Mr. Veríssimo, along with her dog Lupi.[2]
The game is based in tabletop RPG campaigns made by Cellbit, live broadcast and based on Call of Cthulhu and The Esoterrorists systems.[2]
The financing campaign for Ordem Paranormal: Enigma do medo was announced in a livestream on 17 October 2020 with the goal of R$ 500,000 (US$97,087 in 2020, approximately), amount reach in only 4 hours.[3] Currently, the campaign raised more than R$4 million (US$776,700 in 2020, approximately), being the highest revenue through crowdfunding in Brazil.[4] The game will be fully voiced in Brazilian Portuguese and the presence of voice actor Guilherme Briggs as special guest and the voice of Mr. Veríssimo.[1]
Plot[edit]
Mia is the daughter of Mr. Veríssimo, leader of the group Ordo Realitas, which is dedicated to repelling paranormal creatures that come from the "Other Side", a dimension where unexplainable creatures live. The barrier between our world and the Other Side can be weakened with fear.
Her father mysteriously vanishes and Mia faces herself with members of the group who were disappeared looking for a group known as "Cult of Fear".[2]
