Pooja Prem (born 28 June 2001 in Kerala, India) is a World Record Singer. She started her music career as a stage performer. Soon, she gained recognition by singing songs in different languages.
Personal life[edit]
Pooja Prem was born 28 June 2001 in Kerala, India. She is the only daughter of Premkumar.P.P and Sangeetha Prem. She started singing at the age of three. Soon her parents recognized her ability to sing songs in different languages and from thereon, they started to nurture her special talent.
Career[edit]
Pooja’s music career started at a young age as a stage performer. She started doing several shows in different parts of her country. Captain Raju, the popular actor in Malayalam film industry has been a great support in her music career. In 2010, she started working as an anchor in ‘Kochu TV’. Later, in 2013, she participated in the reality show ‘Little Stars’ in Asianet. A major break in her career occurred in 2017 as she set 3 records in her name, namely, Limca Book of Records, Arabian Book of World Records and URF world records by singing songs in 36 languages. Pooja now sings songs in more than 105 languages and she knows more than 1300 songs byheart. Pooja have also performed in several shows outside her country which includes Kuwait and different parts of UAE- Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaima, Al Ain, Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain.
Education[edit]
Pooja has completed her secondary education from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kadavanthra. Pooja practices music while studying. She has not allowed her passion for music to affect her studies. A topper in commerce in her school, she is now studying for degree in Business administration at Jain University Kochi. Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration(BBA) majoring in Business Analytics.
