Pratik Gauri (born 17 October 1990 in Delhi), is an award-winning Indian social entrepreneur, investor, public speaker, and writer.[5][6] Gauri founded 5ire,[7] and India Needs You[8][9], also board member of the 5th Element Group.[10][11]

Early life

Gauri completed his schooling from Ryan International School and undergraduate from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He also completed Certification in Strategic Management from Harris School of Public Policy, The University of Chicago and an MBA in International Business from India Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi.[12][13]

Business career

Pratik Gauri's motivation was Steve Jobs and Elon Musk.[14] At the age of 17 Gauri and his partner Aditya Singh started his first leadership startup, India Needs You.[15][16] During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the startup received funding from London-based One Young World, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Justin Trudeau, Desmond Tutu, and Emma Watson to tackle the spread of Covid-19 in India.[17] As a 5th industrial revolutionist, Gauri has championed the United Nations' UN Sustainable Development Goals[18] through his creation of 5IR (5th industrial revolution);[13] a blockchain ecosystem focusing on sustainability, technology, and innovation. He helped Fortune 500 companies like Reckitt Benckiser and Tata Sky move from a "for-profit" to a "for-benefit" paradigm.[19]

Beginning in 2006, he founded 5IRE,[20][2] World Web 3 Association,[3] India President of 5th Element Group,[4] India TV Host - FINTECH.TV and THE IMPACT,[21] Global Youth Lead of Dream Tank,[22] Co-Founder of India Needs You,[23] Let's Do This,[24] Alt Ctrl,[25] Let's Go Socia,[26] and GlasTic,[27]

He represents India at the World Economic Forum in Davos,[28][29] Nobel Peace Prize Forum in Oslo,[30] scholarship recipient for Young One World's BP Advancing Energy Scholarship, London, 2019.[31]

In January 2020, he took Harpic Mission Paani, stewarded by Amitabh Bachchan, to the World Economic Forum in Davos,[32] helped build John Krasinski's widely watched show "Some Good News", "Happiness Curriculum"[33] and also generated millions of dollars from companies like Starbucks and PepsiCo to be used towards social enterprises.[34]

As a Public Speaker, Gauri has been featured repeatedly in TEDx India.[35][36][37]
