Rome geographical location[edit]

According to the Shahnameh, the Rome country or land that the Iranians referred to as Rome was the blue border. The sea or river was the Rome border, but this blue border is still unclear. According to the Shahnameh, Salm is the king of Rome, and his father, Fereydun, had given this land to him to rule.

Fereydun quarrel with his two children Tur and Salm continued until the time of Manuchehr. Manuchehr, the commander of the Iranian army, receives the order of war from Fereydun, then goes to war with the two kings of assassin Iraj. The descendants of Feredun were Salm King Rome and khavar. The Tur was King of Turkan and Chin, but Iraj was the king of Iran and Nomads.

The Rome country or race is mentioned repeatedly in the stories in the Shahnameh. But especially during the Lohrasp, Rome names have been prominent. Lohrasp had a son, whose name was Goshtasp. He demanded the reign of his father, but the father did not agree. That is why Goshtasp was ousted by his father and went to Rome to live there. Goshtasp, who lived in Rome for many years, eventually made his way to the Rome court and married Kaiser daughter Katāyoun.

Rome Sea[edit]

When referring to Rome, Ferdowsi sometimes speaks of the Rome Sea. A report on the Rome Sea is mentioned in the story of Siyâvash. When Siyavash built the city of Siyavashgard, Piran first visited it and reported it to Afrasiab. The elder tax collector of the Afrasiab government was Piran. He had to go to all the cities and countries under Afrazab's control and collect taxes.. The taxpayer countries of Makran, India, are the Caspian people. All of these countries were located in the Sindh and Chinese seas. Piran tour ends at Siyavashgard, and Piran visits the city and returns to Turan. Piran tells Afrasiab that everything is good in the country. From the China Sea to the Rome Sea. He means from east to west Turan[2]

The cultural characteristics of the Rome people in Shahnameh during the Manuchehr era are briefly described. Manuchehr In the chase the Rome king, With horse reached Salm from behind and killed him with a sword. The war zone was around Alanan Castle, a coastal land that led to the sea on one side and land on the other. In other words, Alanan Fortress was surrounded by the Manuchehr Division. After the assassination of King Rome, the Rome army was scattered over the mountains and plains, but a wise Rome man wanted to come near Manuchehr King of Iran.

He represented all the Romeans and proclaimed reconciliation. Part of Romeans culture and civilization is mentioned in this battle. The Roman representative said we were not warriors. King Roman forced us into war, and some of these people are in horse or chariot business. Some of them worked in agriculture. Another part of the Romeans people worked on the building[3]. Manuchehr was very pleased with the negotiations and forgave them, but the annual tax levied on them.

The Romans, from the Iranians point of view, were considered to be white ethnic groups with special customs and culture. The Romans represent the Culture of Europe race in the ancient world.
