Rebill is a payments orchestration and recurring billing platform for companies scaling in Latin America. It was officially founded in 2020 by Denis Nahuel Candia and Ariel Santiago Díaz Ailan. It’s headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina and São Paulo, Brasil, with subsidiaries in Chile, Colombia, Mexico and the United Kingdom.[1][2][3][4][5]

As a fintech platform, it tokenizes and saves the card on file and allows the merchants to increase their acceptance rates by linking multiple payment gateways in a single transaction. It offers full flexibility to manage any type of recurring billing scenario for any e-commerce or SaaS company.[6]

History[edit]

Rebill was founded in 2020 in Argentina. It was established by Denis Nahuel Candía after an IT consultancy at an insurance company. Months later, Ariel Santiago Diaz Ailan would join as COO. [5][7]

It became a PCI DSS Compliant[8] Service Provider in November 2020.[5]

In July 2021, Rebill was a winner of Start-Up Chile[9] and then recognised as the fastest-growing company in the Startup Chile Ignite Program.[10] Meanwhile, it started operations in 6 countries after an agreement with Mercado Pago. In August, Platzi chose Rebill as one of the 15 semifinalists in their Demo Day 6-week program.[11]

Moreover, Rebill was chosen as one of the winners in the fintech category of the VTEX Accelerator in February 2022 and is currently a semifinalist in the Visa Everywhere Initiative 2022, a program that awards the most innovative emerging fintechs in Latin America. [7][12]
