Roch Roger Buchon, better known as solely Roch, is a Dutch-French recording artist.
Early life[edit]
Roch was born on December 22, 2003, in Purmerend, The Netherlands to a French father and a Dutch mother.
Career[edit]
Ever since the artist got into Melanie Martinez, they started writing songs and starting off her music career at the age of 14. On her Instagram's story she stated, "Melanie is such an amazing artist. Because of her I realized everyone could write songs with deeper meanings in which they relate to. She, together with other artists, opened the pathway to my career."[1]
By dropping and removing numerous songs on their SoundCloud, she was experimenting with multiple different genres. On their YouTube Bio she talks about the experimenting: "Versatility is very important to her, explaining how she wants to swerve in between multiple genres, creating a unique sound."[2]
On November 5th, 2022 they dropped a Dutch-pop song called "Los van Jou".
For Christmas in 2022 they dropped a single called "Last Christmas", sampling the big hit by Wham! and adding her own twist to the popular song.
