Sapne NGO is a non-governmental organization based in New Delhi, India. It was established in 2012.As of 2019 Sapne has served 22,04,000 people. The organization helps the underprivileged section of society to realise their fullest potential.

The Sapne NGO was co-founded by Devesh Mittal who is currently the Chairman of the foundation. Trustee is Deepes Mittal.Pramod Kumar is the Legal Expert.

Sapne is a registered non-governmental organization organisation based in Delhi that works in the field of community development, child welfare, education, literature and women empowerment. Sapne[1] was established in the year 2016 with a group of likeminded people from all over the country. Sapne’s mission is given momentum by a solitary idea that children can bring positive change to their community if they are empowered through education. Sapne started with three educational camps to teach the underprivileged and uneducated children in order to show them the path of a brighter future. In the year 2016 by this initiative of Sapne, a total of 1003 students were benefitted from the educational camps..[2] Cleanliness drives and donation drives were carried by Sapne. Sapne’s first ever volunteer induction programme was carried out which proved to be successful. Safe Diwali Campaign along with Diwali Fiesta in association with Growing Steps was conducted in Sector 24, Rohini, Delhi. Activities such as ‘Draw Your Dream’ and ‘Write Your Dream’ were conducted at D Mall, Rohini, Delhi. In the year 2017 Sapne came up with the first Skill Development centre in Purani Chaupal, Siraspur, Delhi. Sapne was recognised and certified by the Indian Income Tax Department u/s 80G,12AA of Income Tax Act.Donate a Blanket’ campaign was initiated by Sapne to tackle with cold harsh winters of Delhi to provide blankets to the underprivileged after which ‘Blanket Donation Drive’ was carried out in which food was also fed to mark Sapne’s foundation day[3]. This organisation meticulously worked for the uplifment of the society. Sapne set up a campaign called ‘Decorate a Life’ and made sure that classrooms were clean, hygienic and well ventilated for conducting various classes and providing food to the students. Sapne works towards achieving social justice and curb poverty[4] in urban India. Sapne took a huge step by opening five street school which benefited more than 2,50,000 underprivileged children. The annual magazine of Sapne was recognized and launched by Hon. Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal. To mark the second year of foundation day of Sapne, ‘Ayaam’ was launched at Vidya Bharti School, Delhi. The year 2019 proved to be a golden year for the organisation as Sapne was selected as one of the most prominent NGO’s in India and as the top most NGO’s in Delhi.[5] Bestowed by NITI Aayog, Sapne was certified as Developing Partner of India. Sapne turned three this year, the second round of Ayaam was conducted in which donate a blanket campaign, food for 5000 people and street school[6] was inaugurated in Sector 16, Rohini, Delhi. In 2020 Sapne fought a new, sudden enemy, Corona and helped thousands of people across the city. During the need of the hour Sapne launched campaigns such as ‘Food for All’ to feed more than 1,00,000 children and migrants. Sanitisation of government offices, vehicles, hospitals, doctors’ vehicle has been done by the organisation Delhi Police vehicles has been undertaken by Sapne to lessen the effect of the ongoing pandemic. Sapne believes that a few people of intergrity can go a long way.

Working Models[edit]

The Sapne[7] organization works on the basis of outreach working model which aims to directly implement projects for the underprivileged section of society. Sapne Started a Paathshala campaign which aims to provide poor children with primary education. This campaign helps children to get admitted to near buy schools. Sapne has 3 Paathshala [8] setups in Delhi till date and are looking to improve their services taking in consideration the future of the children. Sapne organized Draw your Dream competition which provides all the stationery and prizes for drawing your dream. It was a pleasure to see those lovely smiles and artistic hands at work.Sapne started Decorate a Life project which cleans living spaces, streets and open classrooms and adorns them with paintings, doodles and sketches. This project aims to create a healthy environment for children and adults. Sapne started Shakti project which aims to empower[9] women and show them that they are just as valued and important as the male population.
