Dr. Shagun Gupta (born October 2, 1978) is an Indian Permanent Make up Expert, Cosmetologist, and entrepreneur.[1] She is the founder of the Shagun Gupta Permanent Makeup And Cosmetic Clinic.[2][3]
Early life & education[edit]
Dr. Shagun Gupta[4] was born on October 2, 1978, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, to Roshan Lal Suryavanshi and Seema Devi Suryavanshi in a financially humble family. She completed her graduation from Himachal Pradesh University in the year 2000 and started her beauty salon in Delhi. She later graduated from 'GIA' London and is a certified Cosmetologist from America.[5] She received her Master's degree in anti-aging & Ayurveda from Madrid, Spain followed by Ph.D. She has mastered micro-pigments from Korea.[6]

Gupta started her career in 2000 with a beauty salon in Delhi, India and later after becoming a certified Cosmetologist from America she moved back to India and started Shagun Gupta Permanent Makeup And Cosmetic Clinic in Mumbai. She has worked with a lot of celebrities from the Bollywood & television industry including Freddy Daruwala, Kamya Punjabi, Arshi Khan, Jasleen Matharu, and many others.[7] She is also the founder of an NGO[8] called Shagun Gupta Foundation[9] which works for the equal rights of Transgenders and members of the Kinnar community.[10][11][12]
