Shine Shetty is an Indian television and film actor, primarily known for his work in Kannada industry. He is known for his works in Kannada serials Meera Madhava on Star Suvarna, Lakshmi Baramma on Colors Kannada.[1][2][3] He has also acted in Kannada films Ondu Motteya Kathe, Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai, Ka, Asthitva and his upcoming projects include the film 'Rudraprayag' by Rishab Shetty[4][5][6]. He recently appeared in the music video 'Neene Neene' by singer Sangeetha Rajeev which was a collaboration with Sonu Nigam.[7][8]

He emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Kannada (season 7) hosted by Sudeep.[9][10][11][12]

Early life[edit]

Shine was born in Kundapura to Sharaschandra Shetty and Indira Shetty. He also has a sibling Varun Shetty.[citation needed] He spent his school life in Kundapura, Karnataka. Later he moved to Mumbai and got his diploma in acting from Balaji Telefilms. Apart from acting he is also an entrepreneur and owns a Food truck business called Galli Kitchen[13]
