Silicone Sex World is a UK-based company known for supplying sex dolls.[1]

History[edit]

Founded in 2016 by Andy Phelps, Silicone Sex World was first set up as a store in London offering sex products over the counter.[2] In 2017, the company closed down the store and moved solely online to reach buyers easily across the globe.[3]

After discovering an emerging sex doll market, the company moved to solely selling sex dolls in late 2017.[4]

Controversy and media appearances[edit]

In March 2018, Silicone Sex World advertized a job opening for a quality controller who will test its new sex doll with a monetary reward attached.[5][6] This sparked off a worldwide controversy which has gone viral online.[7][8][9]

There are also arguments for and against the production and use of sex dolls all over the world.[10] Silicone Sex World gives commentary on all issues and debates around sex dolls in the media.[11] The company has appeared on programs such as ITV This Morning to discuss the role sex dolls have in society.[12]

Products and services[edit]

Silicone Sex World sells male and female TPE and silicone sex dolls.[13][14][15]
