On 8 July 2021, a DHC-2 Turbo Beaver carrying 8 skydivers crashed immediately after takeoff at Örebro Airport in Sweden. The aircraft was destroyed when it was consumed by fire, killing eight of nine people on board. One person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but died later the same day.[1]
