This is planned to consist of two large 3G football pitches and at least 6 natural grass pitches for multiple sport usage. There are also plans for the Sports Village to include a indoor facilities, changing blocks and function rooms. Work is expected to begin late 2018 as part of the new thru-road which links from Queensway to Amy Johnson Way, and the Sports Village is expected to be functional by 2020/21.[2]
