Teachmint is an Indian online teaching platform based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.[1][2][3][4]

Teachmint was founded in May 2020 by Mihir Gupta, Payoj Jain, Divyansh Bordia and Anshuman Kumar - alumni of IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi with executive experience at OYO, McKinsey & Company, Swiggy and Roposo.[5] The group is also listed in Forbes 30 under 30 Asia, 2021 for establishing the India's fastest-growing EdTech startup.[6][3] The company is reimagining the infrastructure for education through their proprietary classroom technology, which is optimized for education providers across the world, including individual teachers, schools, universities and edtech organizations.[7][8]
Teachmint is available in 15+ Indian and International languages including English, Hindi and Punjabi with 10 million+ teachers & students from 25 countries on its platform.[5][9] It crossed one million users in just one year.[10][11]
Funding and acquisition[edit]
The company has raised $118 million till date, with the latest fundraise being it's series B round in October 2021 of $78 million at a valuation of $500 million.[12] Teachmint is backed by investors such as Rocketship.vc, Vulcan Capital Management, Learn Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Better Capital, Goodwater Capital and others.[13][14][3]
Teachmint has made three acquisitions with Teachmore, Teachee, and Airlearn in undisclosed amounts in cash+stock deals.[15][16]
In 2021, the company partnered with Y Combinator backed Malaysian ed-tech firm Pandai.[17][18] In the same year Teachmint also partnered with Bangladesh based company "Shikho".[19]
