The Horse was founded in 2009[8] by Scott Hawkes and Amy Hawkes[9] and began as a leather-footwear brand.[10] The company grew significantly in popularity when it launched its first watch range in 2013.[11] The brand has 200 stockists worldwide, including online retailers such as The Iconic and Surfstitch.
