“The Unknown Grave” (Arabic: القبر المجهول) by the Mauritanian writer Ahmed walad Abdelkader was published in 1982 by the publishing house Sheikh maribya foundation for the protection of heritage and culture. “The unknown grave” is a novel written by Ahmed walad Abdelkader. The poet Ahmed walad Abdel Kader was born in 1941 in Badia Abi talmit, and the writer "Aaed Amira" wrote about him, saying, " one of the most prominent Mauritanian writers who combined poetic creativity and the novel." He says, " one of the most prominent Mauritanian writers who combined poetic creativity and the novel; it was said about him that he adored poetry to the point of wandering, practiced it to the point of addiction, and innovated in it to the point of brilliance and stardom, and was one of the fathers of the Sahrawi Arab novel. The scientific and literary environment in which he grew up in Badia boutelmit, the state of Tararza in southwestern Mauritania, helped him develop his literary talent. [3]
About the novel
The novel "the unknown grave" in a symbolic style reveals the close relationship between the Society of "symbol" and the psychosocial structure of civil society.
