Upshow is an international advertising and digital engagement platform which provides video-on-demand programming and interactive TV programming for businesses.

Platform[edit]

UPshow uses existing business’s televisions to broadcast brands on digital signage using a combination of social media, video streaming content, promotional signage material, and games.[1] The platform runs via a Google Chrome which is designed for venues to customize their screens to show user-generated content. Upshow's platform is commonly seen in restaurants, bars, hospitals and entertainment venues.[2][3][4][5]

The company was founded by Adam Hirsen and Matt Gibbs in 2015 and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.[6]

UPshow is installed in about 12,000 screens across the world.[7]

In 2017, UpShow closed its initial round of angel investment with $1.5 million.[8][9] In 2019, Upshow raised $6 million in Series A funding.[10][11]

Awards[edit]

UPshow received the Chicago Innovation Award in 2018.[12] UPshow’s partners include Jukin Media, Crunch Fitness, Hooters, ATI Physical Therapy, iFly, Margaritaville, BWW, TGI Fridays, BlackFinn Ameripub, Navy Pier, and Willis Tower.[13][14][15]
