Vertigo is a novel published by Dar Al-Shorouk in 2007, written by the writer Ahmed Murad, and it is his first writing.

Novel writer[edit]

Ahmed Murad, writer, photographer and graphic designer. Born in Cairo in 1978. He graduated from the Lycée El Horreya before joining the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Cinematography. He graduated in 2001. His graduation films, "The Wanderers - The Three Papers - and On the Seventh Day", won awards for short films in festivals in England, France and Ukraine. His novel "Vertigo" (2007) was published, and it was translated into English, French and Italian and was converted into a series in 2012. And his novel "Diamond Dust" was published by Dar Al-Shorouk (2010 AD), which was translated into Italian, in addition to the novel "The Blue Elephant" (2012 AD).
