Vrisá, is an Indian fashion designer label based in Jaipur, India.[1][2][3][4] The brand is known for its emphasis on contemporary clothing and hand crafted workmanship.[5][6][7][8]

In June 2013 the husband-wife duo Rahul and Shikha Mangal, founded Vrisá in Jaipur, Rajasthan.[9][10] Regarding the objective of brand, Shikha told in an interview with The Hindu, “Our clothes have a relevance to the past. Our motto has been to revive."[11] Vrisá, often referred as Rahul and Shikha, made its debut in August 2013, at The Lakme Fashion Week for the first time.[12][13][14][15][16][17] In 2015, Condé Nast Traveller included Vrisá in their 50 most loved “Made in India” fashion brands.[18] In the same year the brand introduced Samarkhand, a collection inspired by the Silk Route Era, at the Amethyst.[19] During the Lakme Fashion Week initiative in 2016, named as Sustainable Fashion and Indian Textiles initiative, Vrisá while creating a handloom collections collaborated with other designers.[20][21] During the 2016 Lakme Fashion Week, Vrisá debuted a Kashmiri-inspired design and in its Winter/Festive 2016 the brand introduced ‘Char Chinar', the collection on Kashmiri hand embroidery.[22]. Subsequently, in 2018 LFW, Vrisa introduced Bukhara, a collection based on hand embroideries.[23] In 2018, Vrisa's concept where models walked with gold washes at the inner corners of their eyes in the spring/summer runway was reported by Vogue as one of the "most-searched for beauty trends".[24]
