Hate Speech[edit]

In 2018, FranTech was seen to be providing bandwidth for the white supremacy website the Daily Stormer. When questioned, Dias replied "I’d prefer they weren’t hosted here, but minus some people trying to sling bad press at me, they’ve broken no laws I’m aware of."[2]

Malware[edit]

In 2019, FranTech was providing storage space and bandwidth for malware in the Dridex family in its Las Vegas location. Bromium, owned by HP, found that phishing and banking malware was utilizing FranTech's US infrastructure as command and control servers.[9] In 2019, Internet abuse protection firm Abuse.ch found that Frantech solutions hosted more than 100 malware websites, the 6th most out of any ISP in the world.[10]
