History[edit]
IQLECT was founded in 2012 in Bangalore, India by Sachin Sinha who is also the company's CEO.[1][5] In its early stages, the company began building a NoSQL database with an elastic data framework called BangDB.[6] In late 2012, the company was named one of Venture Burn's 14 "hottest mobile startups"[7] in India and one of YourStory.in's "Top 19 Startups and Apps in India."[8] In July 2015, Exfinity Venture Partners invested $2 million (Rs 12 crore) into IQLECT. This was the first instance of Exfinity investing in an analytics company.[4][9] In July 2018, Iqlect has raised a bridge round of $2.5 million (approx ₹17.2 crore) from new investor VentureEast and existing investor Exfinity Ventures.[10]

IQLECT's primary offering is a cloud-based hardware-software converged service platform for real-time data analysis. It is designed to be sold in a single box unit. Data analysis can be performed instantaneously in the cloud or on-premise.[2][4] IQLECT's product is designed to identify and analyze a variety of "Big Data." Its BangDB elastic framework database is written in C++ and is freely downloadable via a BSD license.[6][11] BangDB 2.0 which is expected to be released soon anytime by March 2020 is said to be capable of NOSql, Streaming and Machine Learning all combined in a single platform.
