A statue of Junípero Serra (sometimes called Father Junipero Serra or Fra Junipero Serra) was installed at Brand Park (Memory Garden), a park in Mission Hills, California across from the Mission San Fernando Rey de España.

History[edit]

Installed in 1925.[1]

Removal[edit]

A week after the Statue of Junípero Serra (Los Angeles) was removed at Olvera (Los Angeles) the City of Los Angeles removed SJ Farnham sculpture. The day prior, the same group of families protested the Serra statue there, by wrapping it in plastic and temporarily taking out of public view.[2]
