LGTBQ+ New Comedian of the Year is a UK comedy competition organised by Comedy Bloomers, founded in 2017 by comedian Chris Smith[1]. It aims is to increase awareness and representation of LGBTQ+ comedians in the mainstream comedy. It started in 2019 and the second edition took place in 2022.
