LevCoin (LVC) is an open-source cryptocurrency created in December 2017 that focuses on privacy and decentralization that runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. Levcoin is a project for creation of the first Bulgarian crypto-currency.
Architecture[edit]
LevCoin is based on the CryptoNight proof-of-work hash algorithm, which comes from the CryptoNote protocol.
History[edit]
LevCoin was originally launched by Dobri Bozhilov under the name LevCoin which is a compound of Bulgarian lev (as currency of Bulgaria) and Coin.
Client software[edit]
A user needs client software, a so-called wallet, to interact with the LevCoin network. The reference implementation developed by the LevCoin Project runs on Windows, MacOS, and Linux. "Downloads".
