List of Serbian Orthodox parishes in Canada. The Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Canada is canonically and hierarchically an integral part of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade, Serbia. The Serbian Orthodox Church in North and South America is often reffered to in North America (both in Canada and the United States of America) as the Serbian National Church. In the 19th century, originally all Serbs, Russians, Syrians, Greeks and other co-religionist newcomers were under the care of the Russian Orthodox Church,. In 1920 the Serbian Orthodox Christian immigrants soon were granted their own jurisdiction under the Patriarchate of Peć in Belgrade (Kingdom of Serbia) following the October Revolution in 1921. After the government of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia was usurped in World War II, internal conflicts divided the Serbian Orthodox faithful during the Cold War (1963-1991) until all sides reunited again under the Mother Church. The Serbian Orthodox Church in Canada (as well as the United States of America) saw significant growth between 1963 and 2022. Considering that in the 1960s the Serbian dioceses had eight parishes across Canada, and by 2022, that number had increased to more than 40. Also, the Serbian Orthodox Church in Serbia as well as in the diaspora is famed for their many monasteries. In the U.S.A. SOC has more monasteries under its jusrisdiction than any other Orthodox national church, including OCA.

The recent 2022 Church of Serbia and Macedonian Orthodox Church reconciliation bolstered the number of our parishes in both the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Canada (and the U.S.), and the Macedonian Orthodox Diocese of America and Canada significantly.

For those with dual citizenshipships, the Ottawa-based Embassy of the Republic of Serbia's Consular Section is in charge for clients living in any of the following provinces and territories: Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Yukon.
