Simon Edward Minter (born 7 September 1992), better known as Miniminter, is an English YouTuber, streamer and Internet personality. He is a co-founder and member of the British YouTube group Sidemen. As of September 2022, Simon's main channel has over 10 million subscribers and over 3 billion views..[1]
In 2022, Minter was listed as one of the top 1000 wealthiest people in the UK by The Sunday Times Rich List.[2][3]
Early life and education[edit]
Simon Edward Minter was born on 7 September 1992 in Hemel Hempstead, in Hertfordshire, England. Minter attended Berkhamsted School, a private school for boys in his local area, where he first met future fellow Sidemen member KSI.[4][5]
Minter was studying criminology at the University of Hull when he first uploaded videos to YouTube. Shortly after uploading to YouTube, he dropped out of university to pursue YouTube as a full time career.
Career[edit]
In 2008, Minter launched his first YouTube channel, but didnt start uploading 4 years later in December 2012, when he first posted his first YouTube video. He mainly uploaded video game content of FIFA and short skits. In October 2013, Minter co-founded and became a member of the British YouTuber group Sidemen.[6]
In 2018, Minter co-starred alongside the rest of the Sidemen in the YouTube Premium series The Sidemen Show.[7]
In 2019, Minter found the charity M7 Education.[8]
Minter currently hosts the What's Good podcast with fellow artist and Youtuber Randolph.[9]
Personal life[edit]
Minter is a longtime supporter of Leeds United.[10]
Minter started dating singer Talia Mar in October 2017.[11] On June 24 2022, the couple announced their engagement via Instagram.[12]

In 2020, Minter released his second single "The Helium Song" with artist Randolph on 15 May, 2020. The Song debuted at Number 2 on the Official Independent Singles Breakers Chart Top 20[14]
