Replacements
Afghanistan – Adriana Kolebaiu was replaced by Zohra Daoud. Zohra cannot compete due to a car accident. Kolebaiu was the first runner-up of Miss Grand Universe Afghanistan 2016 pageant.
Algeria – Marwa Aid resigned her title due to political reasons. The 1st runner-up, Wassila Bey Omar, was selected to compete at Miss Grand Universe 2016.
Bangladesh – Fatimatu Zohra was replaced by Jannatul Ferdoush Peya. Peya cannot compete at the pageant due to political reasons. Fatimatu was the first runner-up at the Miss Grand Universe Bangladesh 2016 pageant.
Denmark – Isabella Lygne Christensen was replaced by Pernille Sørensen. Sørensen cannot compete due to problems with the Miss Grand Universe Denmark Organization.
Guyana – Niketa Barker was replaced by Keesha Brotherson. Brotherson cannot compete at Miss Grand Universe 2016, due to competing in two titles: Miss Earth 2015 and Miss Grand Universe 2016.
Malaysia – Santhawan Boonratana was replaced by Jessica Tan. Tan will not compete at the pageant due to not fulfilling her duties as Miss Grand Universe Malaysia. The 1st runner-up, Santhawan Boonratana, assumed the title.
