Newsclick
Newsclick is a member-supported English language, online video news network. Newsclick is a viewer funded news channel that produces news videos, partnering with YouTube and is based in New Delhi, India. Newsclick was launched in 2009 by Prabir Purkayastha, an engineer and a science activist in the power, telecom and software sectors. He is one of the founding members of the Delhi Science Forum and serves on Newsclick's editorial board. He has published on a number of science and technology policy issues.[1]
Newsclick relies on supporters' donations, and does not accept funding from advertising, government or corporations.[2]

Newsclick frequently interviews economists, politicians, scientists, technologists and policy experts about various issues, especially contemporary news. The website also publishes opinion articles on several subjects. The channel is also producing independent documentaries [3]
