Early life and education[edit]
Sivaangi Krishnakumar was born on May 25, 2000 to a Musical Family at Interior part of Kerala and Grown up in Chennai. Sivaangi’s parents are great musicians, her father Krishnakumar has a doctorate in music and is also a recipient of the Kalaimamani award along with her mother Binni Krishnakumar, who is a Carnatic singer and also a music teacher. Sivaangi did her schooling at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Matric Hr.sec school in Chennai, Tamilnadu. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Commerce from M.O.P Vaishnav College for Women.
Career[edit]
Sivaangi Krishnakumar started her career as a contestant in the Star Vijay's reality show Super Singer Show in 2017.
She later participated in another reality show Cooku with Comali, which gave her immense popularity. She also received the "Most Popular Female on Reality Television" award at the Behindwoods Gold Icons 2021 for her performance in Cooku with Comali.
She makes her film debut with Don along with Sivakarthikeyan .
In March 2021, Sivaangi made her debut in singing. She along with Dharan Kumar sang in an album song "Asku Maaro" for Sony Music featuring Kavin and Teju Ashwini with lyrics penned down by Ku. Karthik and was directed by Dongli Jumbo.
In May 2021, Sivaangi along with Sam Vishal sang a song "Talku Lessu Worku Moreu" in the film Murungakka Chips. Thus making her debut as a playback singer.
She also has a youtube channel for herself with 1 million + subscribers , where she posts vlogs about herself and some singing videos.
