Three (stylized "three.") is the third release by the John Spignesi Band. It is their first EP released as a band.
Recording[edit]
The EP was recorded in lieu of the band's five year anniversary show. Due to the global COVID-19 Pandemic, JSB was forced to reschedule the band's celebratory event. Still with a desire to play, John Spignesi reached out to Matt Terribile in hopes of recording a short EP before the quarantine would take effect. In just one day, the band tracked instrumentals, overdubs, and recorded vocals. The EP was released for free via the band's website on March 27, 2020. The album artwork features a cartoon-style version of Spignesi's father's hand.
Mini Documentary[edit]
During the recording session, JSB collaborated with Will 'Doc' Barron, Will Jakubiak, and former Off The Dome drummer, Robert Engengro to create a three-part mini documentary detailing the process. These mini documentaries were released and premiered via the band's YouTube channel.
