Written by Han Jun and Park Se-jun, and produced by Han Kyung-soo, Choi Han-sol, and VioletK, it is an authentic ballad song. The song is about feeling the beauty of sadness and passionate pain at the same time. It debuted at number 143 on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart.

Musically, "Two Words" was described as an "authentic ballad that begins with a warm guitar sound melody and harmonizes lyrical string with piano performance".[1] The song is composed in the key of D-flat major with a tempo of 130 beats per minute.[2] Lyrically, the song conveys a message of feeling the beauty of sadness and passionate pain at the same time.[1]

The music video for "Two Words" was released on November 15, 2020. The song debuted at number 143 on the 47th weekly issue of South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart for 2020 during the period dated November 15–21.[3] It also debuted at number 62 and number 165 on the Gaon Download Chart and Gaon Streaming Chart, respectively.[4][5] In addition, it debuted at number 23 on the component BGM chart.[6]
